Pixel 7 Pro vs Pixel 8 Pro: check the specifications and the seller
Manufacturer reference checked November 4, 2026. This guide uses Google's official Pixel hardware specifications. We have not performed hands-on testing. The table does not confirm the regional hardware, condition or battery health of any seller's unit.

Equal screen sizes do not mean identical displays
Both reference phones have a 6.7-inch diagonal, but the display specifications differ. Google lists a 1440 × 3120 resolution for Pixel 7 Pro and 1344 × 2992 for Pixel 8 Pro. Resolution alone is not a ranking of overall viewing quality. Refresh behavior, brightness, calibration and your preferred text size also matter. Consult the original source and inspect a device in person if screen comfort is a priority.
Memory is the same; processor names are different
Both reference models have 12 GB of physical RAM. A retailer title advertising the Pixel 8 Pro's memory does not establish an advantage over the Pixel 7 Pro on that number. Tensor G2 and Tensor G3 are different processors, but this site has not benchmarked them. Do not turn a later generation name into a claimed percentage improvement or assume every application behaves the same way.
Look at camera roles, not just megapixels
The Pixel 8 Pro reference ultrawide sensor is listed at 48 MP, compared with 12 MP on Pixel 7 Pro. Both list a 48 MP telephoto camera with 5× optical zoom. Those figures identify the hardware's roles; they do not prove equal telephoto results or a specific improvement in ultrawide image quality. Processing, lens behavior and lighting affect photographs. Independent sample images in the conditions you shoot are more useful than an unsupported score.
Battery condition can matter more than 50 mAh
The stated typical capacity difference is only 50 mAh. It cannot predict a meaningful runtime difference by itself. On an older phone, wear, heat exposure, software and signal conditions can matter. Ask a seller how it describes battery condition, particularly on refurbished or pre-owned devices. A new-condition claim does not provide a measured battery-health report. Review return options in case the phone does not meet the seller's description.
Read support dates before choosing an older model
Google's archive states seven years of OS, security and Pixel Drop updates for Pixel 8 Pro. A support period does not restart when you buy from a reseller. Check Google's current Pixel update-policy page for each model's remaining support before paying. We have not established a current end date for every listed regional unit and do not treat launch software as its installed version today.
Compare the exact offers
Confirm model number, storage, condition and region. Our catalogue includes an international-described Pixel 7 Pro listing, so the familiar model name should not be treated as a guarantee of US carrier support. Use your carrier's official compatibility checker and ask the seller about warranty and returns. The source archive includes regional band and storage differences.
A cheaper historical or unverified price is not necessarily available at checkout. Check the observation date, seller identity, taxes and delivery. Out-of-stock observations are not purchasable offers. Open the catalogue to view exact variants and select them for side-by-side comparison. Read our data method for what has and has not been verified, or report a correction with a source.
