Pixel 10 vs Motorola Edge (2025): a specification guide
Checked November 4, 2026. This compares the US reference specifications published by Google and Motorola. It is not a hands-on review, a performance benchmark or confirmation of a particular marketplace variant.
The key reference specifications
| Feature | Google Pixel 10 | Motorola Edge (2025) |
|---|---|---|
| Display | 6.3-inch OLED, 60–120 Hz | 6.7-inch pOLED, 120 Hz |
| Physical RAM | 12 GB | 8 GB |
| Typical battery | 4,970 mAh | 5,200 mAh |
| Processor | Google Tensor G5 | MediaTek Dimensity 7400 |
Choose the screen size for how you use it
The Edge reference model has a larger screen diagonal. That may suit reading, maps and video, but a larger number does not establish better brightness, color accuracy or outdoor visibility. The Pixel reference display is smaller. Before buying, compare the physical dimensions and weight on the manufacturer pages, especially if pocketability or one-handed use matters to you. A screen's diagonal alone does not describe how a phone will feel in your hand.
Keep physical memory separate from RAM Boost
Google lists 12 GB of physical RAM for the Pixel 10 reference configurations. Motorola lists 8 GB of physical memory for the Edge (2025), alongside an optional RAM Boost feature that uses storage. These figures should not be combined into one comparable physical-memory total. More physical memory can matter when keeping several demanding applications open, but the numbers alone do not establish which phone loads apps faster or uses less energy. We have not measured either phone's performance.
Battery capacity is not a battery-life test
The Edge's typical capacity is 230 mAh larger in these reference specifications. That difference cannot tell you how many additional hours it lasts: display settings, signal conditions, software, applications and battery age affect the result. Manufacturer runtime claims use particular test conditions and should not be read as your personal usage forecast. Check charging requirements and whether the seller includes a suitable charger.
Compare the features you actually need
The Pixel reference camera system includes wide, ultrawide and telephoto lenses. That is useful to know if you regularly frame distant subjects, but it is not evidence that its photos are better in every situation. Consult independent sample photos that reflect your lighting and subjects. Our catalogue has not independently verified the full Edge camera configuration, so this guide does not infer missing lens or image-quality claims.
Google states seven years of OS, security and Pixel Drop updates for the Pixel 10. A support commitment is not a new seven-year period starting when you buy a phone from a reseller. Consult the manufacturer's model-specific policy and support dates. The Edge update commitment has not yet been verified in this catalogue, so we do not rank its software longevity here.
Check the seller's regional model before choosing
A marketplace title can describe an international or North American version even when the brand name matches the US phone. The manufacturer reference specification does not confirm that listing's radio bands, SIM configuration, warranty or carrier certification. Ask the seller for the exact hardware model and check it with your carrier. Google lists a dual-eSIM configuration on the US Pixel 10 page; do not assume a listing advertising a physical SIM is the same regional variant.
Compare total cost, not an old observation
Use the catalogue to open individual variants and seller listings. Unverified and historical prices are labelled separately from recent verified offers. Read the condition, seller, returns and warranty terms, then confirm stock, tax and delivery at checkout. A lower observed price can be the wrong purchase if the regional variant does not support your carrier or the return conditions are unsuitable.
